The company now controls nearly 65% of the market share in the country’s food delivery industry, estimated to be worth over $43 million in early 2021. The market share of the other local player, Pathao Food, has halved to just 20% since 2019.

The plan with the television companies was intended to reach students in parts of the country with limited internet access. There are an estimated 16 million households in the country with no internet connection.

Aviation intelligence company WingX said last year the worldwide weekly average of business jet departures was 50,100. Last month, it was 18,900, up slightly from a low of 12,600 in April.
