Bopha Phorn is a freelance reporter based in Cambodia. She has written for outlets including Al Jazeera, Nikkei Asia and Voice of America. Previously a senior reporter and editor for the Cambodia Daily, an independent newspaper shut by Cambodia’s government, she won the International Women’s Media Foundation’s 2013 Courage in Journalism Award. In 2018/2019 she was a digital journalist at the American Broadcasting Company based in New York.
