Brendan Hoffman is an American documentary photographer based since 2013 in Kyiv, Ukraine, where his work reflects his interest in themes of identity, history, politics, conflict, and the environment. He was the 2018 Philip Jones Griffiths Award winner and a 2018-19 Fulbright Scholar in Ukraine, and has received grants from the Magnum Foundation, TheDocumentaryProjectFund, and the Pulitzer Center on Crisis Reporting, among others.
