Marianne Bray

Marianne Bray writes freelance for The Economist Group and Thomson Reuters Foundation, is a honorary lecturer at the University of Hong Kong’s journalism school and a lead judge for The Society of Publishers in Asia annual media awards. Previously she worked as reporter and editor in Hong Kong and New York for AFP and Reuters and was part of an award-winning team at CNN that covered 9/11, SARS and the South Asian tsunami. She has a Masters of Science in Journalism from Columbia University in New York.
