We’re thrilled to announce that David Adeleke will join the Rest of World team as our Africa Editor.

David is a seasoned journalist who has contributed to publications such as The Continent, where he covered the rise of Flutterwave. David previously ran Business Insider Africa, and has worked as an editor at Ventures Africa and TechCabal. He launched and runs a popular Substack about Africa’s tech scene called Communiqué, and last year, was chosen to be a Substack Grow Fellow. In addition, he’s been a Media and Journalism Fellow at the Charles Koch Institute, and has a certificate in Storytelling for Modern Media from Yale University. 

Here at Rest of World, David will head our coverage out of Africa, and help us grow our team in the region as we bring in a new Africa reporter.
