We’re excited to share that Joanne Lee has joined Rest of World as our new Visual & UX Designer from The Washington Post.
With years of experience in media, including 7 years at The Washington Post most recently as a Senior News Designer, Joanne has an impressive portfolio of editorial projects under her belt, across various print and digital platforms. Joanne’s expertise includes coding responsive web presentations, art directing illustrations, and exploring user experiences for products like Apple News and Google AMP stories.
As an art director for The Washington Post’s Arts & Style section and formerly for its Weekend section, Joanne has honed her skills in collaborating with talented artists from around the world to create compelling visuals that elevate stories.
We are thrilled to have her on our cross-functional team, and we look forward to seeing her creativity and expertise contribute to our projects as we continue to deliver the best visual design for our audiences.
Joanne will be based in our New York office.
