Claire Díaz-Oritz co-founded The Angel Collective for other women VCs who believe in investing in women and socially conscious startup founders from Latin America and the U.S. From her base in Buenos Aires, she has invested in more than 60. Díaz-Ortiz has a background in nonprofit organizations and was an early Twitter employee, managing corporate social innovation for the social network, where she famously convinced the Pope to open an account. Now she is a venture capital scout for Silicon Valley stalwart Kleiner Perkins, focusing on Latin America and the U.S.
