Born in Sierra Leone and brought up in the United States, Cordel Robbin-Coker started his career in investment banking with Morgan Stanley. In 2019, Robbin-Coker co-founded Carry1st, a game publishing platform focused on social and interactive content across Africa. Based in South Africa, Carry1st provides a full stack publishing solution and monetization for gaming partners, plus an embedded platform that allows for local payment methods. Carry1st serves an underbanked consumer market hungry for content. In 2022, Carry1st became Andreessen Horowitz’s first investment in an Africa-headquartered company.
