Linda Bonyo founded the Nairobi-based Lawyers Hub in 2017 as a Pan-African network of lawyers advising on digital policy and using tech policy for startups across the continent. Through events such as the annual Africa Law Tech Festival, her network of Africa-focused tech lawyers has been helping to shape debates around privacy and data protection, AI, intellectual property, and digital identity on the continent. Trained in commercial and immigration law, Bonyo founded Lawyers Hub to upskill African lawyers in technology law and train ecosystem players and governments to understand the policies that govern the tech industry.
