Known as the “Bitcoin pioneer” in the Middle East, Ola Doudin, now CEO of BitOasis, began as an IT risk advisor at Ernst & Young, while mentoring tech startups, before starting her own. Operating from the UAE, BitOasis is a cryptocurrency platform operating in the Middle East and North Africa region. BitOasis enables participants to buy, sell, invest, and trade in more than 40 different cryptocurrencies. Doudin’s work is helping to pioneer more regulatory discussions surrounding crypto trading in the public and private sector, legitimizing the use of it among other financial institutions. In March, BitOasis received provisional approval from Dubai’s new crypto regulator.
