Pham Nam Long teamed up with algorithm engineers to create Abivin’s logistics optimization software, vRoute. With the ability to factor in 30 different conditions — poor roads, small alleys, motorbikes — vRoute’s AI reduces the burden of time and resources on the logistics chain, solving for the particularly unique challenges of Southeast Asia’s urban and rural areas. Abivin’s entry into the Startup World Cup in 2019 won it $1 million, beating 30,000 other global startups. Abivin’s use of big data in problem solving is pushing other companies to invest in AI and data, too — something supported by government policy.
