In the last decade, Sangu Delle has become one of the most quietly influential early stage investors in African tech, particularly in fintech and health care. The Ghanaian-born entrepreneur was an early backer of Nigerian unicorn Flutterwave, Kenya’s Wapi Pay, and Ghana’s mPharma. Since 2020, he has taken up the CEO mantle at Africa Health Holdings, working on expanding telemedicine access and addressing the continent’s global disease burden with the MyCareMobile App, providing teleconferencing and consultations for patients and partners in Kenya, Ghana, and Nigeria. This year, the Harvard graduate was nominated to his alma mater’s Board of Overseers.
